The service
ClearAccess Documents LLC ("we") remediates fillable PDF documents for accessibility. Submitting a document starts a free automated review that produces either a flat-fee quote or a request to discuss a custom quote. No payment is taken before you accept a quote. Some documents receive an additional human quality review, which is included in the quoted price.
Quotes, payment, and refunds
- Quotes are per page, scored by document complexity, inclusive of any volume discount and minimum job fee, and shown in full before payment. Payment is processed by Stripe; work begins only after payment is confirmed. Large projects and documents outside automated coverage are quoted personally, and engagements above certain amounts may be handled under a written services agreement.
- Turnaround estimates shown with quotes are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. If a document turns out to need human work we did not anticipate, we will contact you before proceeding — we will not silently deliver a lesser result.
- Delivery guarantee: every delivered file has passed machine validation against PDF/UA-1 (ISO 14289-1), our live upload check, and a final human verification in PAC 2026. If we cannot produce a file that passes these gates, we will refund your payment in full for that document.
- If you decline a quote, nothing is charged and your file is permanently deleted as described in our privacy policy.
Your content and our deliverables
You retain all ownership of the documents you submit and warrant that you have the right to submit them for processing. You grant us a limited license to store and process your documents solely to provide the service (and, for paid jobs, for internal service improvement as described in the privacy policy, unless you opt out). The remediated file we deliver is yours to use without restriction.
What we do not promise
We remediate documents to defined technical standards and validate against them. We are not a law firm and nothing in this service is legal advice. Passing PDF/UA-1 validation is strong evidence of document accessibility, but no vendor can guarantee that any document, website, or organization is immune from complaints, demand letters, or litigation, and we make no such guarantee. Consult your counsel about your compliance obligations.
Acceptable use
You agree not to submit documents you lack rights to, malware, or content whose processing would be unlawful. We may decline any document at intake or after review; if we decline before delivery, you are not charged (or are refunded), and the file is deleted.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any document is limited to the amount you paid us for that document, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Housekeeping
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. We may update these terms; material changes are notified to account holders by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions: info@clearaccessdocuments.com.
Effective July 20, 2026.
